My name is Gilles and I am writing from France where I live with my wife and kids. I am not a native English speaker so I appreciate your indulgence.
I graduated in 2008 from the French engineering school École Polytechnique and then spent almost two years at Stanford University (USA) as a visiting student. Since then, I am working as an engineer in the aerospace industry.
My main focus is scientific computing but I write about any kind of topics more or less related to programming. Basicaly I love to learn a lot of things all the time, either because I need to constantly stay up-to-date professionnaly or simply because it's fun (the latter being the most frequent!).
I started this blog as a hobby, this place is thus meant to be a place where I share my enthusiam about computer science, my discoveries and my opinions.
